A MSGC program which honors the military, police, fire, & EMS veterans with diplayed flags along our main street. The Hometown Hero Banners hang annually from Memorial Day to Veteran's Day.  We're always accepting registrations for your veteran, so click below to find out more.

Our MSGC First Friday events are one of a kind with great food, excellent music, and a stellar atmosphere all on the city hall campus. Our famous KidZone will keep the littles entertained as well, while your family caan browse area businesses and organization booths

Rat Run
5K

This Run/Walk event is great for the whole family and is normally held the weekend of the 4th of July celebration or the weekend before July 4th. The event is always rain or shine. We'd love for you and your family to run with us!  Click Below for Info!

Veteran's
Memorial

The Gas City Veteran's Memorial and Brickway is a permanent statue and walk path that honors those who've served.  They can be viewed daily on the East lawn of City Hall.  Click Below to find out how to get your personalized memorial brick in the Brickway.

Turner park was started as a matching fund from Betty Turner's Donation to the city for a small satellite park on the south side of Gas City.  Turner Park currently features a splash pad, an outdoor exercise facility, and soon to be much, much more. Click below to find out more info on Turner Park
